Produced and mixed in 2002-2003. All of the tracks were made purely on the basis of feedback created with a minidisc recorder during a broadcast on Amsterdam-based Radio 100. Subsequent edits of recordings of this feedback were exchanged between the artists, resulting in a rich palette of rhythmic and tonal sounds that culminated in the compositions on this album. Stylistically, the tracks resonate with artists from the clicks ‘n cuts and microsound genres like SND, Alva Noto, and Richard Chartier (to whom the track ‘For Richard’ is dedicated).
